Construction Before & After in Austin, TX
We can talk about written pricing and our 365-Day Done Right Promise all day, but the work itself should do the talking too. Remodeling is disruptive, dusty, and occasionally full of surprises behind the drywall. What matters is how the finished space looks and how the project got there. These before-and-after write-ups show real Austin scenarios we’ve handled, from cramped bathrooms to dated ranch layouts. The photos below will be populated as we photograph current projects.

1960s Ranch Bathroom Gut Remodel in Crestview
Before
AfterThis Crestview ranch still had the original 1960s bathroom: pink tile, a soffit that ate half the ceiling, and a cast-iron tub that had seen better decades. We gutted it to the studs, moved the toilet rough-in to make room for a 60-inch freestanding tub, and installed Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor). The owner went with a Kohler tub and a Caesarstone vanity top. Result: a bathroom that finally matches the rest of the house and will stay waterproof for the long haul.
Kitchen Wall Removal and Reconfiguration in Allandale
Before
AfterThe kitchen in this Allandale home was a narrow galley with a wall separating it from the living room. The owner wanted an open plan but didn’t want the ceiling to sag in five years. We pulled permits, engineered a flush beam, and removed the wall over two days while the family stayed in the house. The new island runs eight feet with a Silestone top and KraftMaid cabinets underneath. The wall is gone, the ceiling is flat, and the inspector signed off without a single correction.
Whole-Home Renovation on a 1970s Split-Level in Northwest Hills
Before
AfterThis Northwest Hills split-level had three bathrooms, a tired kitchen, and popcorn ceilings throughout. The owners bought it knowing the layout worked but nothing else did. Over ten weeks we replaced all three bathrooms, rebuilt the kitchen with Wellborn cabinets and Cambria counters, and scraped every ceiling smooth. James Hardie siding went on the exterior to handle Austin’s hail seasons. The owners got photo updates after every major milestone, and the final invoice matched the written price we gave them on day one.
Primary Bathroom Rebuild After a Leak in Hyde Park

A slow shower pan leak in this Hyde Park bungalow had been soaking the subfloor for months before anyone noticed. By the time we opened it up, the joists needed sistering and the bottom plates were soft. We reframed the wet areas, installed a new mortar bed pan with a full waterproof membrane, and rebuilt the bathroom with Toto fixtures and a Kohler shower system. The owner now has a dry subfloor, a level floor, and a shower that was flood-tested for 24 hours before tile went down.
Laundry Room to Full Bathroom Conversion in Mueller

This Mueller home had one bathroom for three bedrooms, and the owners were done arguing over morning showers. The laundry room sat adjacent to the existing plumbing, which made the conversion cheaper than an addition. We ran new drain lines, framed a shower where the washer had been, and added a Moen fixture package with a Grohe thermostatic valve. The laundry moved to a closet stack. Now it’s a two-bathroom house and the morning queue is gone.
Exterior Refresh: Siding and Trim Replacement in Barton Hills

Years of Austin sun and the occasional hail storm had left this Barton Hills exterior looking faded, cracked, and ready for a full refresh. We removed the old hardboard siding, replaced rotted fascia and window trim, and wrapped the house in James Hardie fiber cement with a fresh paint finish that can take the Texas heat. The owners watched the transformation happen through photo updates, and the final walkthrough included a written guarantee on every repair we made. The curb appeal change was dramatic enough that a neighbor stopped us mid-project to ask who was doing the work.
